JV played in the Clay Center Invite Thursday!

The JV team also played on Thursday at the Clay Center Invitational!  Hannah Higgins lead the way with a 53, Andi Tanner was right behind her with a 55, Lizzy Tauschek 58, Lauren Erickson 65, Kealy Lhuillier and Julianna Poe both came in with 67.

3rd Place Finish at Hutchinson Invitational!

Thursday the girls played in the Hutchinson Invitational at Carey Park in Hutchinson.  After their tournament in Lawrence on Wednesday the girls hopped in the van and headed to Hutchinson.  It was such a busy week but the girls ended it on a good note!  The girls came in 3rd out of 17 teams (110 players)!  Elise Jackson lead the way and achieved her goal of breaking 80 with a 77 and a 5th place finish overall!  Andi Siebert placed 11th with an 85, Rhys Phipps and AJ Ryan both came in with a 97, Camy McAtee 98 and Kami Bussman 101.  The girls are back in action at Manhattan Country Club on Monday!

Lawrence High Invitational at Eagle Bend

On Wednesday the varsity girls went to Lawrence for the Lawrence High Invitational at Eagle Bend.  The girls left Manhattan at 5:45 am and started play at 8:30 am.  They finished their rounds in about 6 1/2 - 7 hours.  There were 132 players and 23 teams!  Manhattan place 8th overall with a score of 353.  Elise Jackson lead the way with an 83 tying for 19th place.  Andi Siebert was next with an 85, then Camy McAtee with a 91, AJ Ryan with a 94, Rhys Phipps a 99 and Kami Bussman with a 107.

Centennial League Championship

Yesterday was the Centennial League Championship at Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Junction City.  The Lady Indians tied for first place with Washburn Rural but ended up getting 2nd. We had 5 girls place in the top 18. Andi Siebert tied for 1st (79) but lost the sudden death playoff, Elise 3rd (80), AJ 10th (91), Camy M. 13th (99), Kami B. 16th (102) and Rhys (106). Congratulations girls and Coach McCarthy!!
